Stephen has built an impressive career in the property industry, working internationally with various multinational companies before founding IRG Property in 2008.

His journey began in Florida, USA, in 2001, starting in property management and maintenance. It wasn’t long before Stephen took the natural step into real estate. Back when holiday homes near Disney were a niche market, Stephen was already facilitating sales for vacation properties. As the market evolved, these holiday homes became prime opportunities for investors looking to build lucrative property portfolios. Managing an expanding client base and increasingly complex transactions became second nature.

During his time in Florida, Stephen held various key roles, including managing a successful sales team of ten and establishing a thriving resale department for one of the region's top real estate companies. His proven track record led to a pivotal opportunity: opening a new office in the Algarve, Portugal—a place that would soon become his true home.

Arriving in the Algarve with nothing but a suitcase, Stephen set about building one of the most successful real estate companies in the region. Under his leadership, the Algarve office quickly rivaled long-established competitors, becoming a top performer within the international portfolio of the company. This period, around 2006, was marked by high demand for new-build and "off-plan" properties. Investors, primarily from the UK and Ireland, sought to capitalize on strong capital appreciation and excellent rental yields—a combination that the Algarve market delivered consistently.

Following the Algarve office's remarkable success, Stephen was entrusted with revitalizing the Cyprus offices. Within just six months, he turned the business around, significantly boosting performance. However, Portugal remained his true calling. In 2008, Stephen returned to the Algarve and founded IRG Property.

Since its inception, IRG Property has undergone many transitions, adapting to the evolving market while staying true to its core values. Today, IRG Property is renowned for offering reliable, honest advice on all property matters, with a reputation built on trust, integrity, and deep local expertise.
